La Pointe Saint-Gildas in Préfailles and its semaphore tower

Just 20 minutes from the campsite, take a trip to La Pointe Saint-Gildas and its semaphore tower. On the way there, you will enjoy an exceptional ocean panorama. As well as the marvellous view, you can visit the operating lighthouse at the Point and hear the many stories and tasks associated with a semaphore tower. Children and adults will be fascinated by this site. You will also learn the dates and places where the famous shipwrecks took place off the coast of La Pointe Saint-Gildas.

Brière Regional Nature Park

40 minutes from the campsite is the biggest nature park in Loire-Atlantique: the Brière Regional Nature Park. As well as enjoying the idyllic setting, here you can take a boat ride. Many tales and secrets about the area will be revealed. The park is a peaceful and relaxing place, ideal for holidaymakers looking to recharge their batteries. Rides in a horse-drawn cart are also on offer in this vast green space with its natural riches.
